Description
Lavinia B - 1937 Henry Hornby Motorsailer
Lavinia B is a beautifully preserved 1937 Henry Hornby Motorsailer, steeped in maritime heritage. Built with pitch pine on oak ribs and full of original charm—including a restored Blakes toilet and classic winch—she served during wartime as an aircraft spotting vessel for the Clacton Observer Corps. Her authenticity and elegance have earned her accolades at both the Henley Traditional Boat Festival and as a Thames Vintage Boat Club prize winner. With extensively refurbished mechanical and electrical systems, and a large cockpit ideal for leisurely cruising, Lavinia B is a rare opportunity to own a piece of living history.
