Cassie May is a 50ft narrowboat built in 1991. She has been under the same ownership for 10 years and has been properly maintained by the owner, who is also a skipper and works in boat maintenance.


Maintenance and Upgrades


- Blacked by the owner last summer with 3 coats applied, including to the base plate.


- Successfully surveyed at the same time (copy available to interested parties).


- 6 new anodes fitted.


- Repainted externally this year to a high standard.


- Interior redecorated this year.


- Engine and transmission recently overhauled.


- Clutch and thrust plate replaced in the gearbox.


- Stern gland repacked.


- Water pump and gulper replaced.


- New tiller bearing fitted.


- 3 new leisure batteries installed.


- Brand new cratch cover fitted.


- Flue of the multi-fuel stove being replaced.


- New BSS Safety Certificate will be supplied with the boat.



Liveaboard Information

Cassie May is a turnkey boat, ready for immediate occupancy as a full-time liveaboard. There is an option to take over her fully transferable residential mooring at Aquavista’s Limehouse marina. Limehouse offers exceptional cruising opportunities in central London with direct access to the Thames, Regents Canal, and the Limehouse Cut linking directly with the River Lee.
